From The Sports Network: In injury news for the Raptors, center Primoz Brezec (groin) is expected to miss Friday's game against New York.
He didn't really "miss the game" since he dressed but didn't play.

After waiting two weeks for an answer from Pinnacle Hoops, Primoz Brezec's Management Corporation, I've emailed Jim LaBumbard and Jamie Deans of the Raptors media relations staff. Hopefully they can forward my questions to Primoz, I'd like to post a Q&A with Primoz asap!

Non-Primoz-thoughts: TJ Ford is going to start ahead of Jose Calderon? Even if it was Jose's suggestion, Sam Mitchell should never agree! No way TJ deserves it, Carlos Delfino could be Jose's backup (for about 8-12 minutes a game). Maybe they want to showcase TJ for an upcoming trade this summer.

Got an email from Eric Smith (Fan590) who assured me Primoz was told about my site from the Raptors media relations staff. He also wished me all the best, which ups the count for classy, friendly Raptors-related guys in the media to three (sorry guys, some of you didn't even bother to write back).
Since nothing has been published about Primoz' injury status, I just hope he can play against the Pistons, one of his former teams. He never got a chance to prove his value there, that should be enough motivation for him.

When asked about the state of his groin injury, Primoz Brezec had the following observation: "The groin is a gangster."

Still out with a pulled groin muscle. Not that I dislike Primoz in suits, but I'd rather have him in uniform! It's hard to prove your value sitting on the bench cheering, I'd guess.
Though losses on the road-trip and against Cleveland. Hopefully getting CB4 back enables the Raptors to pull it around as he works his way back into All Star form.

Primoz Brezec pulled a groin muscle while warming up for Sunday's game against Sacramento and was a late scratch, the Toronto Star reports. Darrick Martin came off the inactive list to replace Brezec.

Maceo Baston over Primoz with 20 points down in the first half? C'mon! Just 6 minutes? How can he show what he can bring to the table if he isn't invited to the table? Noone brought any energy to the game. And you let your high-energy guy sit on the end of the bench? Sure, Primoz doesn't play great defense, but which Raptor did recently?

I also found sites mentioning ReSignPrimoz.com through google, one site even suggested that Primoz himself is behind ReSignPrimoz.com! Actually I get asked alot if I am Primoz. It seems people think he would be behind something like this!
Put up some more pictures aswell, including some very old ones from Union Olimpija and the Pacers aswell as newer pictures from public appearances!
Update: Matthew Sekeres (The Globe and Mail) wrote me back some nice emails and promised to talk to Primoz about ReSignPrimoz.com tomorrow in Sacramento!

Primoz got teched up yesterday - and in return owes the NBA $500 for it! The Raptors lacked that kind of intensity so far. And Coach Sam Mitchell showed, that he can handle it!
